NEW YORK SUMMER DAY CAMP SPORTS

At our New York summer day camp, sports are implemented for fun and instruction. At our New York summer camp sports academy, we motivate children to participate in sports through cooperative learning and fun and exciting games. At our New York summer day camp, each camper gets special attention as our sports specialists create an atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable playing sports. Our New York summer day camp features sports such as basketball, baseball, soccer, kickball, and football.

NEW YORK SUMMER DAY CAMP SWIMMING - Our exclusive, private outdoor swimming pool is located in North Queens (32nd Avenue off Union Street) in New York. Campers participate in recreational and instructional swimming.

At World of Discovery Summer Day Camp our Swim Program is among the safest in New York. Our lifeguards stress safety, fun, and most importantly swim instruction.

Campers are exposed to swim instruction 3-5 days per week in 30 minute intervals. In addition, during the recreational swim campers get plenty of time to practice the skills they've learned.

NEW YORK SUMMER CAMP TRIPS - Campers embark on 2-3 age appropriate summer day camp trips each week to some of the most exciting destinations in New York. Our campers go on summer camp field trips to locations around New York City and Long Island including Yankee Stadium Tour, Ripley's Believe it or Not, Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, Deep Sea Fishing, Dave & Buster's, Laser Tag, the Mets Game at Citi Field, White Post Farms, Capital One Music Fair, latest summer blockbuster movies, the aquarium, children's museums, sports complexes, go-karts, historical sites, fun stations, amusement parks, skating, bowling, and other fun places that provide unparalleled learning experiences. One of the most exciting trips is the Discovery Charters Speed Boat in New York City. Campers get an up close and personal tour of the Statue of Liberty and many other New York City landmarks along the Hudson River while cruising by in a state-of-art speed boat.

NEW YORK SUMMER DAY CAMP RAINY DAY ACTIVITIES - At World of Discovery Summer Day Camp of Bayside, Queens NY, inclement weather doesn't put an end to our fun! On rainy days, campers can be found inside our air-conditioned facility in Bayside, New York participating in a revolving itinerary of movies, talent shows, arts and crafts, sports, magic shows, bingo and many other fun activities.
